Business and Legal Management
Sustainable Environments has extensive experience analyzing the business opportunity of mitigation banking. Financing
Finding financing for mitigation banking projects is very difficult. Because mitigation banking is still in its infancy it is not understood and easily assessed from a risk perspective, main stream commercial banks have yet to be willing to provide debt for it. SE has formed relationships with many individuals and institutions that are willing to provide equity and some debt. We also have an understanding of some of the different mechanisms that are available to finance mitigation banks in the form of government programs.
